Stitching Treasures - Needlework Designs
I want you to know that my designs may look difficult in construction, I try my best in providing detailed instructions along with graphics.  Please do not be intimidated by my designs.  I have been complimented on my directions on how easy the construction is.

I am going to have this as a teaching piece because of the specialty stitches and to teach the construction.  I also did a half version of the snowflake pinkeep. I will keep you informed of where I will be teaching this design.  Click on the pic to see all 12 snowflakes.

Spool and Specialty Stitches wrap

I had a friend that gave me this idea for these great scissor holder and there is a magnet at the top to keep your needle when not in use and it will also help secure your scissor in the holder when traveling.  The one on the left with the wrap has a satin finish and the wone on the right is a gloss finish. I thought it would be a great idea to do a wrap to go around the spool that is like a learning specialty stitch wrap.  It is tied off with silk ribbon from Hand Dyed Fibers.  I am releasing the spools and design for retail.  I'm hoping that Nordic Needle and Hoffman will grab these up.  More pictures of the wrap, just click on the picture above.

Special Spools

The genleman that made the spools above for me surprized me with these great spools that is made from different types of wood and even did some mixing different woods together to come up with the stripes, checkerboard and patches.  Click on this picture to see the closeups.
