I started publishing my designs this year 2008 after my mother passing away. I am dedicating my designs to my mother and my grandmother. She was a big supporter of mine and was always wanting to know how I was doing on my designs. I didn't have the heart to tell her that I didn't have enough time to devote to my designing because I was taking care of her. My grandparents practically raise me and my grandmother taught me how to sew and embroidery. I know my grandma would be proud of my needlework an what I have accomplished.
My designs are based on Antique and Vintage Needlework accessories. I have a collection of Antique Needlework accessories and I want to bring them back to life. I am adding my own designs and style but the structure is the same as antique needlework accessories. I'm hoping my designs will appeal to stitcher's needs and wants. I am now teaching my designs and I will still try to provide some designs for the retail market.
I have taught at the Stitching Jubilee, Celebration of Needlework and for the EGA. I am a member of the EGA.
